والحـبُ في العيـنِ هَمـسٌ يُشـعِـلُ الأدَبـا

إن كـنـتَ تَــكْــذِبُ فـي سِـرٍ تُـكَــابِـدُهُ

فـفِـيـكَ نـارٌ وفيــكَ الحـرفُ أرهِــفُـهُ
وفيــكَ حـبٌ عـمـيـقٌ قـالَ مُـنـتـحِـبـا

هُــلِـكـتُ حُـبًا وكيـفَ الحـبُ أمـنَـعهُ
فـأيـنَ نـفـسي ومنـي الصـبرُ قـد هَـربـا
